Greetings all,
Tarantula season is upon us. Well, almost. I haven’t seen one yet this fall, but I expect to any day now. Maybe you have seen one already. If you have please let me know and send in your bike ride data (Google Earth file – .kml).
This will the seventh year of the Cycle for Science project – tracking tarantulas observed while bike riding on Lake Mary Road. Thanks to all the volunteers that have contributed in the past years and those who will be participating this year. I would like to give a big shout out to Eric L. who has logged 2,351 mi with 51 bike rides documenting tarantulas since he started in 2022.
